This speed ring is used to connect a Paul Buff White Lightning (X2400 in my case) to the Chimera Octa 2 24 inch modifier. It does work, but if you look in the product picture, you'll see it comes with 8 screws attached that hold the inner piece to the outer piece. These screws prevent the Octa 2's cloth back tabs from laying flat, causing some light to spill out the back. I had to tape the Octa 2 to the speed ring to lessen this problem.

Is this compatible with other brands of light ...
Is this compatible with other brands of light modifiers? For example I have a Photoflex LiteDome I'd like to use on this.
This Octaplus Speed Ring for White Lightning Ultra can work on the Photoflex Litedome.
