Sennheiser DC2 Overview

The Sennheiser DC 2 enables EW G2/G3 and 2000 series wireless transmitters to be powered from the DC power outputs on camcorders. The absence of a connector allows users to custom-wire desired connectors to suit specific outputs.

I have been using this with a Sennheiser g3 receiver and a Remote Audio BDSv4. I didnt buy the additional pigtail connecting cable as i had some unused ones from tbe BDS kit. I just soldered that to the battery packleads and all is well.

Does this unit work with the G4 series transmitters as well?

I verified with the manufacture and yes it does work with the Sennheiser G4 transmitter series

When you install the DC2 how do you get the original battery door off to put on the new one with the cable hole?

There is a small pin on the bottom of the unit that when it is pushed in the door comes right off.

The Sennheiser DC 2 - DC Camera Power Converter works with the G2, G3, and G4 100 series. It is not intended for use with a battery.
