Mounting this Voigtlander VC Speed Meter II on a cold shoe accessory mount on the left side of a Hasselblad 500CM would affect the accuracy. Although it is a hand held meter, the Sekonic L-398A Studio Deluxe III Light Meter, BH # SEL398A would be much more accurate. The lumisphere on this meter can be turned in order to obtain a more specific reading.

I have not noticed any difference in exposure when the batteries get low.
I did not notice any warning when the batteries got low; the meter just would not turn on when the batteries went dead.
