E-String 50112B reviews

Six Outlet AC Extension Cord, Black - 50' is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Genius design. I use this to run power to my lights and other equipment on set. It's great to have the outlets spaced out along the cord - it saves needing to daisy chain more extension cords just to position lights farther apart. The light-up sockets are dandy too, making them easy to find in the dark while not being so bright as to cast an unwanted glow on whatever you're shooting. These lights also help keep folks from tripping over the cord, which is a big plus for special events. The cord itself is heavy-duty and rugged. My only complaint might be that the cord weighs a ton but that's a small price to pay for the convenience. I would definitely recommend this cord to a friend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Now THIS is an extension cord! Any extension cord that is labeled Intended for use on construction sites is no ordinary cord. I bought two of them for connecting between a power inverter and my monolight strobes. Having power taps along the cord length is perfect for putting lights where you need them. No more snaking a cord to a central point and then branching from there. With this one you snake the cord to where the lights are going, and plug in as needed. The plugs are spaced every 9 feet, so six plugs including the end of the cord. The green power-on indicator lights show where the plugs are in the dark, but aren't so bright that they're likely to show up in a photo lit with strobes. If you really don't want to see them, wrap that part in some electical/ gaffer's/ duct tape. The lights shine into the outlets, too, so you can see where you're plugging. The 12-gauge wire is larger than in many house circuits. That also means the cord is heavier and bulkier than most. But, when safety is important, this is the way to go. Note that the cord includes an adapter if you're connecting it to a normal 15A outlet. I highly recommend this if you're going to be outdoors, if you need distributed plugs, and you're going to be drawing some significant current.
