    Echo Gina3G reviews

Gina3G Interface is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Audio Interface I moved to this interface after Presonus stopped supporting my Firebox and had no W7 drivers. Despite having the hassle of installing a PCI card, the installation was actually very easy. I loaded the drivers before putting the card in, then just loaded up windows 7 x64and instantly recognized. The benefit of this over a firewire based interface is latency. I can work with a 1.5-2 ms latency, under 5 ms roundtrip, which my firebox was pushing 13 ms. So this is really beneficial for tracking with effects. The outputs are dead quiet too. I love that all the audio I/O and converters are on an external breakout box, this seems to isolate the I/O from any computer interference. Great product, unbelievable price. I can't recommend it enough, this or the Layla3G are incredible values.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Product! However... I use the Gina 3g for audio processing in my Digital Audio Workstation. Just make sure your PC has an open slot for a PCI card. Installation of the PCI was very easy, and the Gina 3g install was a breeze. It was worked superbly with my SONAR X1 software for audio recording and processing. The sound is very clear and is a big improvement over my Lexicon card. I give the product itself 5 stars. The shipping process however, has been another story. I paid extra for the 2-day shipping because I needed it for a project by a certain date - and it took 8 days. No explanation given, and everyone at B&H is on vacation. What gives? I am still waiting for a response to my request to get my money back for the shipping.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from High-quality sound unit I bought the Gina3G to use for audio recording, and I wanted a device that would work in both Windows and Linux. So far, everything seems to be working well, and the sound quality is very good. My only complaint is that using the S/PDIF-in locks the sound device at that rate, so if you try to play audio at a different bitrate, it will play at the wrong pitch. It's not a problem as long as you do all of your audio work at the same bitrate.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Rock Recordings!!! Pristine sound when recording PCM 60 reverb - can switch room sizes with clear results - no clicks. Guitar amps / tubes - dynamite sound!!! Using Gina 3G with Adobe Audition 3.01. Small learning curve to figure out how to use the console (AA3.1 - rec ch 3/4 while muting 1/2 inputs - keep those for playback)- does the job. Echo Audio / B&H are both great people. Super pro gear at a musician's price. Says it all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sounds fine and compact for DTM As you know, this is not brand new product, however it still works great in 2011 DTM circumstance. Everybody will be happy with this sound for sure!!! Some of them would not be happy with software functionality which is limited comparing to brand new products (ex:monitor FX for direct-monitoring). Anyway, you think about this great price and sound.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best low cost high end sound card I use several of these devices in my studio and recommend them for clients. It's a versatile choice that has the advantage of working on 64 bit machines as well as the older 32 bit ones. For the price it can't be beat.
