Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great replacement adapter for MDRV700 I was looking online for an adapter for my Sony MDR-V700 headphones. Sony wanted 4 times the amount for a replacement adapter. I checked b and h and found this adapter for the senheiser headphones. I bought it wihout really knowing if it would work, but i figured for only $ it was worth a shot. I got it in the mail screwed it on and it works great. If anyone is in the same predicament i was in this is a great alternative. I hope this helps.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly as promised We have several sets of Sony MDR-7506 headphones in our kits. Over the years we've lost several of the screw on adapters. We've replaced them with straight push on in the past and they've worked out ok, but really wanted to replace them with the screw on variety. Sony wanted $9.50 each and they were on back order. I called the ever helpful folks at B&H and they quickly suggested I replace them with the Sennheiser adapters. They are perfect, actually better than the original Sonys.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exact fit for Sony MDR-7506 Aside from the insulator plastic color (black vs. green on the original Sony), these adapters fit exactly the same as the one that came with the headphones.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Work great for Sony MDR-7506 Headphones Only place I could find that carried these...looked everywhere. I own a nice Sony MDR-7506 headphone set. They are 1/8th stereo with a screw on 1/4 adapter. Had them for years, recently unplugging them from my Digi001 headphone port and half the scew on 1/4 adapter pulled out and stayed in the port. Searched everywhere for a replacement, found an audio forum mentioning the Sennheiser part being identical. It sure is...bought two of them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple, high quality My Sennheiser head phones work in mini (1/8-inch) and phone (1/4-inch) formats. This 1/4-inch phone adapter is necessary when I edit and engineer (in ProTools) and when I monitor my own performance in the recording booth. My headphones came with this adapter, but I have an extra as a backup. It is a simple but high-quality product. Do not mistake this adapter for the snap-on kind. It is not going to fit every mini-plug.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent replacement or extra part I purchased this part because I needed an extra to carry in my headphone case for the times when I forget to screw the 1/4 adapter back on. On weekends I plug the headphones into my RME Fireface unit with the 1/4 adapter and later remove it when I connect the headphones to my computer. These adapters appear to be top of the line quality and I have never had a problem with them other than forgetting to screw it back on.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from One Use Only I had to replace the screw-on adapter for my HD280P headphones, it smacked on the ground and the tip broke off. The internal sleeve is plastic. I tried a generic adapter that doesn't screw on but it made the connection too long in my field kit. I'm not sure about other make/models of headphones but I'm sure I could have found something cheaper if I had the time.
