The CDP-CX455 is a Megastorage CD Changer with a 400 disc capacity created for the extensive CD collections of music enthusiasts and avid CD listeners alike. The unit also features CD-R/RW playback as well as an MP3 decoder, so that custom music mixes burned to CD-R/RW can also be played. An optical digital output is included for connection to a digital recording device such as a CD-R/RW or Mini Disc.
Features on the CDP-CX455 include twin jog dials for easy disc access along with direct access keys (tracks and CDs,) and CD Text will display with CDs that support the feature. The unit also has A1II Mega Changer control, an upgradable protocol for remote control of another suitably equipped player, two repeat modes (disc or track), and 32 step program play, providing all the tools needed to organize a CD collection.
A rear panel audio input allows a second CD player to be connected to the CDP-CX455 and a Custom File feature remembers 32 favorite songs, ready for instant access no matter what disc they're on.
