Flags are used for negative fill - aka blocking out light that you have added to a setup. There are a lot of flags out there, but this one has found a happy home in my lighting kit. Pacs down small and lightweight. The flexible arm is durable and holds its place. May be useful for other attachments, but it didn;t hold the weight of my 7 HD lcd monitor. Great product. Simple and functional design!
