Rated 3 out of 5 by from Okay for the money I use two spaces in the case all the time, swapping out the cards for two fille dones in my Canon XF305. It helps keep track of the cards while ou are on location. It also he,ps keep them clean. The cards fit snug in the case and the unit has a little indentaion around the lid to preven tcasusal dust from getting inside. Unfortunately, the metal part of the case fell off after I used it for the first time. It is adhered to the plastic clamshell body with two sided tape. Although this could be adequate, the plastic is slick and the adhesive has a hard time sticking. Everything else about this case is good for the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rugged like no other The exterior is stamped aluminum that will take quite abeating. I've dropped it down stairs, stepped on it, had itfall out of my pack off a 3rd floor balcony and it's nonethe worse for the wear (neither were the cards in it). Theinterior is a high density plastic. The card moldings are asnug fit that requires a simple but deliberate action toremove (once the cards are in, they're not going to getshaken free and fall out when you open it). This is probablythe best $10 accessory out there.I can think of only one improvement: make it levitate backup if you do drop it off a balcony. Your needs may vary.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Get a different brand While the case does hold the card nice and tight in a rubber-like frame the outside of the case and the hinges leave a lot to be desired. This was may second purchase, yeah yeah I know if the dog bites you why go back, but the first fell off a 3 ft table and the hinge snapped. the second had both outside metal coverings falling off. turns out they were just held on with double stick tape. I put some glue behind each and it held, but I bought the bulkier more expensive watertight model by a different manufacturer which is solid and tight, but too big. The one plus the COMP-1 has is that is nice and thin and fits well in your pocket. So be gentle and keep the glue handy and you may be OK.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Ehh This case comes with a metallic outer covering adhered with two pieces of double sided tape. That covering was already falling off as soon as i took the case out of its packaging. I didn't realize before buying this that the compact cards I ordered would come with a little keychain carrying pouch that was small and more convenient. Even though the metal covering has fallen off, however, I probably will keep this as opposed to trashing it because it is very sturdy and I just may need it down the line.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not Great - Broke within a few months We bought two of these and for a couple of months, they were just fine. But after about 2 months of use, the metal plates fell off of one of them, and within another month, the metal plates fell off of the other one too. Also, the button on the fastener of one of of them fell off/broke off after about 5 months, so now it doesn't close. Not overly happy with this purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Holds four CF cards. It does what it's supposed to. But it seems like it could be a little better. The could make it water tight for example. Though according to the canon rebel xs that was found in the ocean, cards can be submerged in salt water for over a year and still have the data recovered. So maybe water tight isn't necessary. Doesn't seem too strong either. But it will hold 4 CF cards for you. Bottom line: Take care of it and it will take care of your CF cards.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Compact Case - Protects the Cards...but Purchased this case to protect some expensive compact flash cards I purchased. The case appears to be of aluminum construction with a hard foam inside. The latch is plastic. The cards fit snuggly in the foam and are easily extracted when needed. The case appears to protect the cards well. The case covers are attached to the foam with double-sided tape. I had one cover pop off the foam while I was transporting the cards in a knapsack. I fixed the covers back onto the foam with some additional double-sided tape. A real non-issue, given the price of the case.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don't see what the fuss is about I read the reviews and saw some saying it doesn't open easy, the top layer of the casing fell off out of the box. I have only had it for 2 weeks and brought it to a golf course shoot and an engagement party shoot. It fit nicely in my pocket, it seems durable and protective. I don't know how anyone finds it hard to open. And the top metal layer seems like it isn't going anywhere. Most important my compact flash cards fit perfect and are easy to get out...Basically the point is for $ your getting the same quality as a $20 or more product.
