Great for allowing super clamps to mount 5/8 pin mount accessories. Got them for strobes after I have been using baby pins which are too long and unstable due to the proprietary design of the mounting hole in the manfrotto / avenger super clamps. They are aluminum.

This is highly well made snap in pin. I trust Avenger products.

question

How long is it?
Asked by: Bruce C.
That's a rather personal question :) (Monty Python)I think this is the same pin that I am lholding right now. There are a couple of versions.Total length is 3-3/4 . Actual round pin above the hex is 2-3/4 . Most baby pins are usually 2-4 long.If you need a longer one, I think Matthews has a 6 with a collar, so it doesn't slip though the gobo head, when used upside down. Good to have one, or two in the grip kit.
