In 1971, Bob Moog introduced the Minimoog, the first compact, portable and affordable synthesizer. With its "fat" sound and unparalleled filters, the Minimoog quickly became known for its analog bass and lead sounds.
In 2004, Arturia introduced the minimoog V, a faithful reproduction of the original Minimoog. Offering all the features of the original, the software version also adds polyphony, MIDI management and presets. Behind the control panel are additional functions, including a modulation matrix, an arpeggiator and an independent LFO, as well as a stereo chorus and a delay.
minimoog V functions as follows:
- Stand-alone under ASIO, Core Audio or DirectSound
- Plug-in for applications supporting VST, AU, HTDM and RTAS for Mac OS X
- Plug-in for Digital Performer 3 and Pro Tools 5.2 under Mac OS 9
- Plug-in for applications supporting VST, HTDM, RTAS and DXi for Windows
