This is a well made accessory. I am using it on top of the Kupo Baby Kit Stand with Square Legs (9.5'). The fit is perfect. Works exactly as I wanted to offset whatever gear I mount on the stand a bit.

I use it everytime I shoot! Wether a strobe or constant lighting, the offset is right above center of my camera giving me the light exactly where I want it. The build quality is superb and professional looking. I am absolutely happy with it and now currently looking at other products that can improve my lighting placement.

Do you know if it's possible to unscrew one of the baby pins when only one light is attached?

No. The pins are welded onto the arm.
