The Lorex CVC6990 is a black and white and weather-proof security camera with a wide angle lens. It is so impervious to the elements it is actually submersible up to 100 feet. It uses a high quality Sony CCD that renders over 400 lines of horizontal resolution for great detail even in very low lighting conditions. The camera comes with 100 feet of video and power cable and a mounting bracket.
Moisture Resistant Housing
The CVC6990 camera is housed in an aluminum enclosure. The housing is so water resistant it may be fully submerged to 100 feet. Rain certainly poses no problems for operation and consistent high resolution black and white images.
Ultra Low Light Detail
The 3.6mm f/2.0 lens will capture a wide angle of view in almost total darkness. It is rated a minute 0.01 Lux minimum illumination. Black and white image capture is inherently more sensitive because it takes much less processing power to get the picture.
Wide Angle View
The lens is permanently mounted on the camera and provides a horizontal angle of view of almost 70°. The unit can be placed in an inconspicuous location, impervious to the elements and capture a wide range of scenery.
