The JMI CASE14OTA Carrying Case (Black) is a hard ABS plastic case with the attached 2.5" wheels. The case is made to carry a Celestron 9.25, 11 or 14" (OTA) optical tube assembly only. There is a crush-resistant die cut foam lining for the optical tube in the interior that is configured at the factory for the 9.25" optical tube. Simply pull out the precut sections to increase the cavity size to match the 11" or 14" optical tube. The finder scope and diagonal must be detached and carried separately (14") or wrapped for protection and inserted in the extra space in the case (11"). An adapter bracket is included for instant accurate repositioning when attaching the finder scope.
The CASE14OTA includes two lockable latches, with a 3.0 x 30" steel hinge. It can be carried by two people using the two handles on either end or pulled using the attached 2.5" wheels. The wheels must be attached to the case by the customer; it is easily accomplished in a few seconds with no tools required.
