The JMI CASELX12R10 Telescope Carrying Case (Black) is a molded ABS plastic with die-cut foam lining and compartments for telescope, eyepieces, finder scope and accessories. It is designed to carry a Meade LX90GPS 12", LX200 (non-GPS) 12", LX200GPS 12", LX200R 12", LX400-ACF 10" or RCX400 telescope that can be stowed with the nose between the mount forks. If your model must be stowed with the nose up, it will not fit in this case. To fit in the case, the finderscope must be removed and stored separately in the provided cutout. A vinyl cover for the finder scope is included. There is a removable cover (no hinge) with six lockable latches, it is removed completely to insert or remove the telescope. The case has four steel-reinforced handles and is designed to be maneuvered like a wheelbarrow with two retractable handle bars and two 10" pneumatic wheels.

CASELX12R10 Telescope Carrying Case is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok, not great, but ok There are not a lot of options for holding an LX200 Meade telescope, so when I saw his I was pretty excited. Then I saw the price tag. Wow; that is a lot of money! But, with the telescope as expensive as it is, I decided to bite the bullet and purchase this case with some assumption that it would be of outstanding quality, form and function. If this was a $ or even $ case it would be just fine. But at $ plus in a package deal, it really should be better. Things that I noticed; the bolts holding the wheel axels on would not go in properly, most likely because the holes were not aligned well. You have to remove some foam to make an acf model fit. There was something written on an enclosed piece of paper about thisThe holes in the foam don't line up with either the hand controller or the finder scope. A little bag is provided for the finder scope, but what do you do with it from there;just let it rattle Round the inside of the case? The top is pretty flexible so you have to work with it to get it lined up properly over the bottom or it won't fit. The wheels extend way past the bottom. Therefore you cannot stand the case up on it's base. This means it is forever laying on it's back taking up a lot of room. Had the wheels been more like any suitcase in the world, it would have worked just fine, then been easy to store and transportLooks like it is missing one screw each in the handles, or perhaps one too many holes were drilled?Unless you drop the scope into the foam perfectly, it puts stress on the separate layers and they want to come unglued. I will probably taper the tops in the future. Will this case protect your scope from minor transportation scrapes and scratches? Yes it will, therefore it meets the requirement for a 3 of 5 score. It is no Pelican case though so don't even think of any really rough shipping in this case. And for a $ plus custom case, I really expected something better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great case This case will give your Meade LX200 all the protection it will ever need. Holds telescope firmly in place and protects your extra eyepieces and other gear. The wheelbarrow handles and 10 inch pneumatic tires really make it very easy to transport your scope. I would highly recommend this telescope case.
