Well, it doesn't look that great in the pictures, does it ? Indeed, I doubt it would have occurred to me to BUY one, until TWO of them arrived over a year ago as part of my superb Audix SCX25A matched pair piano miking kit. From that moment on, I found myself constantly reaching for them (rather than my vast inventory of other clamps) whenever the need arose to mount all sorts of things in all sorts of less conventional places. That they're fabulous for mics is a given, but these clamps are ALSO unmatched, in my long experience, for the secure clamping of more exotic things, such as mini cams and wireless mic antennae. Perhaps the best testimony I can give in terms of just HOW useful they've been (and what good value for money they represent) is me telling you that I now own a total of six.
