DPA Microphone's WINDPAC-M is a replacement windscreen for DPA microphones. The collapsible zeppelin-like windshield is made from an innovative nylon-fiberglass composite, which blocks wind noise at gusts of up to 56 miles per hour, while allowing accurate sound reproduction and audio transparency. The WINDPAC-M, medium windshield, fits any microphone length up to 11.8 inches.

This new revolutionary windshield was developed by DPA Microphones in cooperation with one of the most experienced sound engineers in the Danish film industry, Jan Juhler. Its unique design and shock mount, which is suspended on a web of rubber straps, provides an excellent absorption from any external disturbances.

Adjustable elastic straps with different settings accommodate midsized microphones measuring up to 11.8 inches in length.
Easy to Use
You can mount the windshield onto the shock mount by simply sliding it on and letting it click it into place, which also results in extremely low handling noise. The windshield itself can be quickly collapsed in a simple twisting motion and stored away for storage.
