The Kata CRC-15 (RC-15) Compact Rain Cover is designed to fit HDV camcorders such as Sony EX1, Z7, Z5, Z1, Panasonic HVX200 and similar size models. It is made from a waterproof material that features a crystal clear TPU (transparent polyurethane) panel which allows control monitoring and viewing of the LCD screen at any angle. The cover slips quickly over a camera to protect it from sudden showers. There are 2 top openings that enable the extraction of shoulder strap, wireless antenna, viewfinder etc. A removable sleeve enables a variety of microphone configurations without compromising the high protection level of the cover. There is a hand sleeve that is provided for manual use and can also be used to seal off a tripod connection. Kata rain covers are tested in a weather laboratory and successfully protected equipment during severe weather conditions.
