My old Celestar came with five Parks 1.25" ...
My old Celestar came with five Parks 1.25" filters, including their "ALP" (anti-light pollution) filter. My yard gets heavy light pollution, so I'd pay for a more expensive filter if I were sure it would give me much better performance. Any filter comparisons out there?
The Celestron filter is effective in light pollution situations. However, I cannot compare it to the filter that you already have and don't know if it will be any more reducing of light pollution in your yard. My suggestion is to buy the filter and compare.
