I have a pair of Powered P.A. System speakers that use IEC cables for AC. With these, I don't need those little short cords attached to the long regular extension cords that I use to run to the speakers. Saves a lot of time making up special extension cables. I only wish they were L shaped, so they wouldn't stick out from the back of the speakers so far.
