Trigger Finger, from M-Audio, is a USB powered controller with sixteen velocity-sensitive pads that are perfect for playing drum sounds in software instruments, triggering loops and samples, or even controlling video projections. It allows the user to program and perform expressive percussion and drum parts with their fingertips. And applying pressure to the pads can generate any MIDI controller desired.
Trigger Finger also provides eight knobs and four faders that are freely assignable to MIDI parameters such as volume, pan, pitch and effects. Included pre-programmed maps for Reason, Live, GM Drum, XG Drum, iDrum, make setup a snap and the unit's full programmability allows one to customize the unit to taste. Settings are easily stored via sixteen presets, and the included Enigma librarian software for PC and Mac lets one create additional program maps.
