There is much to like here from Eagle Optics in the Platinum Ranger Class series of binoculars. They are lightweight, offer great handling and are designed to deliver the highest resolution from the Eagle Optics brand thanks to fully multicoated lenses and phase-corrected BaK4 prisms. Close focusing capacity is commendable.
The included case is quite tough but will tend to abrade clothing if left by your side. The recommended waterproofed case will not do this, with smooth nylon upon the back, and offers access permitting your interpupillary distance setting to be set as you need without restricting the entry and exit from the case.
