The Samson Stage 5 wireless microphone systems are designed to give users an inexpensive and easy alternative to wired microphones. The systems operate on VHF frequencies and are available with either a handheld microphone or belt-pack transmitter. Included in this wireless handheld microphone package is the SR5 Receiver, HT5 handheld transmitter and H5 microphone capsule.
The SR5 receiver is a desktop mounted unit designed to receive the radio signal transmitted from the ST5 belt-pack or HT5 handheld microphone transmitters. The SR5 receiver features a single, telescoping antenna and large output volume dial for easy level adjusting. The rear panel reveals both balanced XLR and unbalanced 1/4" phone output connectors. Audio level and radio signal meters are located on the front panel.
The HT5 handheld transmitter features the Samson H5 cardioid microphone head. The cardioid polar pattern is effective in minimizing noise at the off-axis sections of the capsule, eliminating feed-back caused by monitor speakers. The neodymium electronics produce high signal gain on output while maintaining a low noise floor. The smooth frequency response ensures accurate pick and intelligibility.
