The White 10 x 12' Muslin Backdrop from Backdrop Alley is made of the highest quality muslin cloth. It has a 4" hem on top and bottom, with five eyelets on the top edge for hanging the backdrop from a crossbar. There is also a pole pocket for even easier hanging.

This looks slightly lighter than 18% grey--maybe 12%. True?
Unfortunately, Backdrop Alley does not list the specific reflectance percentage of their backgrounds. They only list the colors by names, either Gray (listed above), Medium Gray (Backdrop Alley BAM12MDGRY Solid Muslin Background (10 x 12', Medium Gray), B&H # BAM12MDGRY MFR # BAM12MDGRY, which is discontinued and no longer available), or Dark Gray (Backdrop Alley BAM12DRKGRY Solid Muslin Background (10 x 12', Dark Gray), B&H # BABGSM1012DG MFR # BAM12DRKGRY).Also, do note that our website does note the following: Colors depicted may vary slightly, due to differences in computer monitors, printed media, and variances in manufacturer's fabrics, dyes or paints. While I cannot be certain, a relfectance of 12% may be correct, but do note that the color of the background may change depending on how the background is illuminated or based on the exposure level at which the background is placed.

I have not used it in that way but I would guess that it probably will.
