Rated 5 out of 5 by from It works on 2007 iMac with OS X 10.10.2 I have a 2007 24 iMac and after many tries with other cables I finally found one that works . I been setting up my iMac for astronomy . I needed cable/s that work with apple products so this is the one! I'm using SkySafari 1.8 and wanted to operate my Celestron AVX mount , This cable did the trick . Also I have a Orion Auto guider and a Meade deep sky camera working too and it all works perfect ! THE only thing is the driver on the disk is a bit outdated and at 1st it didn't work , I went online to there site and downloaded / loaded the driver for my operating system and it worked perfect - finally I can operate the telescope from inside the house and NOT freeze ! perfect

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Can Work With Older Wacom Intuos and Mac I bought this in the hopes of being able to use an older (large and once expensive) Wacom Intuos GD graphics tablet on a newish Mac Pro running OS-X (10.5.8). Initially, the combination did not work but then I found a freeware program called Tablet Magic that got the devices talking to each other. (I have no connection with that software maker but was pleased to find it). Some of the pen responses can be a little twitchier than I'm used to (with my USB tablets) but otherwise this adapter (and that software) has made it possible for me to use an old serial connection Wacom GD tablet on a current Mac. So, the product seems to work as described for this use. That's impressive when one considers that Wacom says this should not be possible (with usable results).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It works! It's easy! At first I was concerned about having to navigate a user interface each time I wanted to use my RS-232/Com-3 which by the way is missing on many new computers. In 5 minutes, I had loaded and configured Keyspan which operates in the background after config- downloaded all of my waypoints from my Garmin GPS and had the points up on GoogleEarth in a jiffy. (Used EasyGPS free download; don't forget to config EasyGPS for Com-3)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from USA 19A USB to Serial Adapter As an Amateur Radio operator I needed an interface device to connect my serial devices to the computer. There are many USB/Serial adpators on the market. The Keyspan USB/Serial adpator has proven time & again to be the hands down favorite due to its reliability, quality and performance. You will not regret this purchase, especially if your looking to interface your serial devices to the computer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Convenient and dependable We bought some of these over 1 year ago for IT use only (new laptops had no Serial ports). As time went on, some of the PC's on our manufacturing floor needed to use a 2nd serial port so I installed my USB-Serial adapter and it worked great. These are used all day every day to receive data from scales and meters. I ended up installing all of the ones I bought and had to come back and buy more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top of the line Serial Adapter I have one in use on a computer running 24/7. Each time I need to go out in the field and program another unit, I had to disconnect it and bring it along. Now I keep one in my go kit. The adapter has never failed me and I have read of the knock offs out there that do not always perform. Well pleased and although more expensive than others, you get what you pay for.
