I need a GPS that can connect to my Windows 8 software that does not have a Serial Port. the software I use can only detect COM 1,2,3 or 4. I see that Garmin offers a GPS that can go to Serial port. Can the combination of that and this product still allow the computer to see this as one of the above Com ports? or do you have my complete solution?

Once installed the Keyspan Serial Adapter will appear as a COM port on a Windows system.
