I use these for my QFlash and speedlights. Rock solid design. They will not break when your lights fall over, unlike other plastic umbrella holders, especially the manfrotto copies. They are also much lighter than metal manfrotto umbrella holders. Good for traveling. For speedlights, I did have to shave off a bit of the screw to put a cold shoe on top without interfering with the flash foot. The only thing I would change is for the screw at the bottom to line up with the middle handle knob so that when you pack for travel, it would lay perfectly flat. I have replaced all of my umbrellas holders with these.

... tough lightweight material and easy screw in system works well - after all they are meant for quick and light work.I would happily recommend them to other photographers ...
