The Technics SL-DZ1200 is a professional DJ CD player designed to emulate the look and feel of the classic SL-1200 series direct-drive analog turntables. A direct-drive motor and platter combined with a vinyl-emulating 10-inch platter allow DJs to scratch, back-cue and manipulate digital audio just like vinyl records.

The SL-DZ1200 features a rugged front-loading CD player that supports CD-A, CD-R, CD-RW and MP3-CD formats. An SD Memory card slot allows DJs to store and play sample libraries, sound effects and entire albums, for even further convenience and minimal bulk. Sample Pad triggers are provided for real-time remixing, cue control and sample looping. An arsenal of on-board effects include vinyl emulation effects, wah, pan and distortion effects and much more.

The SL-DZ1200 is the perfect blend of classic analog turntable feel and digital flexibility. The design is sure to impress the seasoned DJ and today's digital DJ alike.

Classic Technics Design and Feel
The SL-DZ1200 is designed to replicate the look and feel of the classic SL-1200 analog turntable line. DJs will automatically feel comfortable with the direct-drive motor and platter. The familiar controls are laid out just as they would be on the analog decks.
Traditional Vinyl Characteristics
A spinning platter acts just like a vinyl record and provides analog style scratch and back-cue control over digital audio.
SD Card Support
In addition to CD media, the SL-DZ1200 also supports SD-Card media for added convenience.
Cue & Cue Bank Pads
Four self-illuminating cue pads allow you to set, save and seamlessly cue from exactly the point of your choice. It can memorize 50 sets (more if stored on an SD card) of 10 cue points as individual "albums." Each "album" also stores your settings for the four cue pads, loop points, auto cue condition and effects.
Sample Pads
Sample pads allow for editing, overlapping and playing back multiple samples. By sampling musical phrases, using the editing function to set the In and Out points, looping and mixing various samples, you can play the SL-DZ1200 like an instrument and use it to create original compositions.
On Board Effects
An arsenal of on-board effects include vinyl emulation effects, wah, pan and distortion effects and much more.
Large Blue Center Display
The big, easy to read central display lets you know your exact BPM, elapsed time, and remaining time, as well as other track and play data. Adjust the display angle for easy reading in traditional or battle style play.
