The black Electro-Voice ZX5-90PI is a 15" 2-way 600W weather-resistant passive loudspeaker offering high-performance, full-range sound reinforcement for indoor and outdoor installed applications in arenas, stadiums, and festival stages. The ZX5-90PI's 15" woofer and neodymium/titanium high-frequency compression driver yield a 58 Hz to 18 kHz frequency response and boast a 600W continuous power handling rating (2400W peak). The high-frequency driver is mounted in a 90 x 50° horn for wide coverage or short distances.
The input to the loudspeaker—provided by a waterproof SJO cable with a gland nut—is fed to an internal crossover that properly distributes frequencies to the drivers. The lightweight polypropylene cabinet is outfitted with anchor plates, suspension points, and a carry handle to accommodate a variety of mounting configurations. With its molded enclosure design, two-layer grille, and secure input connection, the ZX5-90PI loudspeaker is rated for all-weather use.
