Will the Cokin P007 infrared filter work with making color photos (swapping red/blue channels)? I see an image in the reviews that show a little color.

The Cokin P007 Infrared Resin Filter for Black and White is typically designed for use with black and white infrared film and only transmits the infrared spectrum and none of the visible spectrum. While it may be used with digital cameras, it still will only transmit infrared light. Any color swapping or other infrared effects will depend on the sensor used by your camera. As normal camera sensors are not designed for infrared photography, you would typically need to have your sensor converted for infrared usage as this is not typically available using the standard camera sensor.

question

What is the filter factor when using Rollei 400 Infrared film? (120)
Asked by: Anonymous
Due to the nature of infrared photography, the filter factor is highly variable and depends largely on the ISO sensitivity in use and lighting conditions.
