I have burned several of these discs so far, and have been very happy with the results. They function reliably and quietly, and result in an accurate, error-free disc that plays without difficulty. I am very pleased with my purchase.

I burn video ball games for a team and make copies for coaches and players. I have made 100's of DVDs and never had any problems with the discs.

No complaints. It's getting harder to find these. B & H always has them.

Yes, I have clients that still request their videos be put on DVD. For some strange reason, this particular UPC code and brand of DVDs are the only ones that work in my duplicator. I'm just glad that B&H still carry them.

Good, solid discs

Using these in a church setting to record worship services during the pandemic that then to to various nursing homes. They work the way they are supposed to work. A few mis-fires on the recording, but I'm not doing the recording or watching the video, so I'm not sure if the problem is the disc. We will need more in the near future, and given the price, I have no problem going back to them.

question

I use a SONY Multi-Function DVD Recorder to convert and preserve my CANON HI-8 family video tapes. Each video tape runs for 2 hours (120 minutes).I purchased a Verbatim stack of 100 DVD-R discs expecting to run a two-hour tape and record on a sigle disc. I've tried twice, and only get one(1) hour of recording on the tape. Why?

It might be what you have the record setting at. Typically the default setting is the best quality/ shortest recordable time. On your remote, it may have a button to set the rec speed or similar. That changes the quality of the transfer, but would extend the record time. Maybe check your owners manual for this setting adjustment. Hopefully this helps you.
