The RU2-CS1 Serial Controlled Interface from RDL is a device that controls (8) open-collector outputs and provides (8) separate 0 to 10VDC outputs to control external VCAs or other equipment with control inputs in this range. It also features (8) status inputs to sense external switch or transistor closures. Use this unit to control your RDL modules or OEM products.
The unit connects to a computer through an RS-232 link and commands can be issued from a terminal program or software package. It can also be controlled via its front-panel interface.
LEDs on the front panel provide a visual indicator of line status. The unit can also be set to provide alerts any time an individual status input terminal changes state. It can be used in a stand-alone or rackmount configuration.
