The Evolution G2 Series is the latest addition to Sennheiser's Evolution family of wireless microphones. The UHF wireless microphone system features 1440 tunable frequencies and 20 frequency presets. This system includes the EM500G2 receiver, SKM500G2 handheld transmitter and MD835 microphone head.
The EM500G2 is a UHF rack-mount wireless receiver for the G2 series wireless microphone system. The receiver is made of a durable metal enclosure and features a full functional LED display. The receiver features 1/4" and XLR balanced (switchable) outputs. Twenty (20) preset memory locations can be reassigned to any of the 1440 available frequencies, within the 32MHz tuning range.
The SKM500 Handheld Transmitter features a rugged construction, capable of handling the rigors of heavy road use. It also features 20 preset memory locations that can be reassigned to any of the available 1440 frequencies. The MD835 is a dynamic element with a cardioid pick up pattern. The cardioid pattern minimizes off axis signal, allowing the microphone to be used around stage monitors and speakers without feedback. The transmitter operates on 2 AA batteries.
