    Sennheiser HDR 120 reviews

HDR 120 - Wireless RF Expansion Headphones for the RS 120 Wireless Headphone Monitoring System is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 39.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from OK but HDR 130 is Better I bought this headset to replace my broken HDR 130 headset (couldn't find a HDR 130 headset-only). Although the HDR 120 is perfectly capable, it is not nearly equal to the 130. The earpieces are smaller, flat (no soft cup surrounding the ear), and construction seems cheaper. The flat earpieces are not comfortable for long listening sessions as they press the ear against the side of your head. Likewise, they don't isolate outside noises as well as the 130, and sound qualify is not as rich. I realize I'm comparing the 120 to a more expensive product, but I'm disappointed all the same.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from They fall off your head when you lean forward Yes, they have great sound, are rechargeable etc etc. But they are an absolutely hopeless design. We have a set each for my parents (both hard of hearing) to watch TV. Everytime they lean forward to push up off their chair, they headphones drop to the floor. Also, the tuning button is too close to volume and so we've had to tape it over to prevent them using it accidentally. That worked for all of a week until one of them managed to move it, and then it takes a week for one of us to get over there to adjust it back. I would not recommend these for the elderly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product. Great sound, easy use. I bought these to keep things happy in the bedroom. Wifey can sleep undisturbed and I can watch TV AND hear. Charged them up, plugged them in to my 32 Samsung and they have worked flawlessly since. Quite amazing sound quality with very good distance. Excellent battery life. Overall great value. Highly recommend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Note the word Expansion My wife uses these to listen to TV while walking on a treadmill. Fortunately for me I had previously purchased a complete HDR 130 headphone set because the HDR 120 EXPANSION headphones do not come with a supporting transmitter/charger station. For me this was no issue but I didn't notice this fact in the associated marketing literature. Buyer beware. The HDR 130 headphones I had previously purchased had suddenly stopped working and the replacement HDR 120 set work fine with the previously purchased transmitter/charger. The only negative feature of the HDR 120 headset is that the channel has to be tuned with a rotating wheel, not an up/down switch as is found on the HDR 130 set. Since this wheel is located right next to the volume wheel, it is easy to inadvertently de-tune them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from no transmitter, just headphones This is a good product but watch out before ordering that this is just the headphones but the transmitter is not included with it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from DR 120 - Expansion Wireless RF Headphone I use the headphones listen to my TV while sitting or walking around the house. SOUND IS GREAT but the headphones fall off if I bend over. Is there any way to fix this problem. I have a hearing loss and I greatly enjoy the sound quality

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good product...just one thing I have a set of these. They work fine. I'm a little hard of hearing, and use them to watch TV. The only negative I have is that the TV audio has to be at a level the system will accept, otherwise it reverts to noise. That level is reasonably low. They do fall off my head when I bend over. Helpful hint: do not wear them on your head while you are washing dishes and moving a big cooking pot containing three inches of olive oil in the bottom. My headset fell off into the olive oil. I took it all apart, dumped it into soapy water, agitated it around for a few minutes and dried it in the sun. It worked great...for a couple of hours. Then it didn't, Tonight I am repeating the process, hoping I missed some grease the first time around. We'll see. Otherwise this little adventure will cost me $ bucks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Headphones I bought these as an extra pair with the base we already own. With a new baby in the house who wakes up at the slightest sound, these have enabled my wife and I to actually watch action movies again - with loud, crystal-clear sound! Only downside, as others have noted, is that you should not order these if you plan on using them while doing any tasks that involve bending over, because they WILL slide off of your head. For walking around or sitting on the couch, though, they're perfect.
