Dedolight DLHM4-300 Overview

The Dedolight Master 4-Light Kit is based on the self-contained 150W, 120V DLHM4-300 Dedolight. The DLHM4-300 works with a built-in electronic transformer dimmer. Using 24V/150W lamps and powered directly from a 117 VAC power source, this version of the Dedolight head has a color temperature of 3000K.

The DLHM light offers tremendous lamp economy and dependability, with a typical 150W lamp lasting over 1000 hours. In contrast to the older DLH2, the DLHM should not be operated upside down for extended periods.

This Master Kit includes an assortment of accessories such as barndoor sets, scrim set with pouch, glass daylight conversion filter, gel filters with holders, a clamp, wall holder, vacuum mount, bulbs, light stand, plastic accessory boxes, and hard kit case.

I own 4 of these lights and use them to draw the eye into the space by highlighting objects all over my scenes. It's easy to set up and adjust and it weighs very little if you travel. Its nearly bullet proof.

This is a really versatile small light source that produces quite a bit of output for a 150W lamp. We use it in conjunction with the Dedolight projection attachment and iris, to project pencil thin beams of light. It's great for highlighting small areas in still life shots.

question

I'm curious, what is the purpose the bulb is not included?
Asked by: Baoguang
Most tungsten fixtures such as this one do not include a bulb when the fixture is purchased on its own. The correct bulb to use for this fixture is Dedolight DL150 Lamp (150W/24V) B&H # DEDL150.

According to the manufacturer site, this head is ...

According to the manufacturer site, this head is compatible with the DP1, DP2, and DP3 projectors. All those projectors come with and without lenses. What's the difference between the projectors? And what's the difference with and without the lenses? My goal is to project a gobo image onto a wall or person.
Asked by: Duane
The DP3 https://bhpho.to/2vzDd4x would be the best choice for use with a 150w tungsten light. It has a fan built in to allow for long run times. The DP2 does not allow for Gobos or attachments. The DP1 would also work but does not have the cooling fan. The lens is what allows for focus and control of the light beam.

question

I there a way to hold this light (similar to Lowel ID light) with a special holder?
Asked by: Alexander V.
It will fit on any standard 3/8 light stand. Just like a ID Light.
