Samson SW7AVSW4 - U1 Overview

Specifically configured for wireless microphone placement on horns during performances, the Samson Concert / Airline Series wireless microphone systems deliver the reliability and function of UHF operation at a fraction of the cost. This system allows horn players the freedom of wireless microphone operation on stage while experiencing the benefits of high quality UHF operation. The package includes the CR77 diversity receiver and AH1 micro transmitter with HM40 horn mounting microphone.

The CR 77 Receiver is a half-rack unit that uses AC power (adapter included) and features dual antennas, XLR balanced, and 1/4" phone unbalanced output connections. The dual antennas signify diversity operation, where dual receivers compete for the strongest possible reception. This further minimizes noise and drop-out due to radio frequency (RF) interference. Additional features include front level control and LED display of RF strength diversity operation and power.

The AH1 Headset Transmitter and HM40 combine for the perfect integration between any transmitter and horn microphone. Incredibly small, the AH1 mounts onto the AMT Roam 1 horn microphone. The entire unit mounts to the bell of any wind instrument, eliminating the need to wear a body-pack. The AH1 still features an easy-to-reach Power On/Off switch; an Input Sensitivity control to adjust the mic level; a Mute (Audio on/off) switch and a multi-function LED that indicates when the transmitter is on and when your battery's running low. The HM40 features a condenser element with a cardioid polar pattern that's capable of reproducing excessive levels without distortion.

Wireless Horn Microphone and Transmitter
The AH1 transmitter and HM40 cardioid horn microphone are integrated to mount onto the bell of any wind instrument. This allows total wireless freedom on stage during performances.
UHF Operation
UHF frequencies avoid the crowded air space VHF frequencies utilize. The result is minimal radio frequency noise and drop out.
Diversity Reception
The CR77 receiver features twin antennas and receiver circuits that compete for the strongest possible reception.
Extended Battery Life
The AH1 delivers an impressive 14 hours of power with a single AAA battery.
