The TM-40 from Korg is a highly-accurate digital tuner and metronome ideal for use by students and professionals alike. This portable device has features found on high end tuners and metronomes but combined in a simple-to-use economical package.
The tuner uses a large LCD-type needle for accuracy over a wide spectrum of notes and ranges with an integrated microphone and a speaker for tuning reference sounds. Calibration can be adjusted in 1Hz steps to accommodate any tuning norms from 410-480Hz.
The metronome has tap mode for specifying the tempo and beat mode for preset patterns and time signatures. Time signatures can be set up to 7 beats per measure while doublets, triplets or quadruplets are played with or without center beats omitted.
