Mine arrived today (6/3/2021), the package indicates it's a Gel mouse pad, and the wrist wrest definitely feels like it's filled with gel rather than foam. There is no oval around the Belkin name on mine (different from the picture on the B&H web site). Packaging indicates it's #F8E262-BLK with a barcode # of (7) 2286823435 (8). By the way, like many synthetic products from China, it Does have a chemical odor. Given that this is an identical replacement for the now frayed and grungy item that has served me well since I bought it more than 5 years ago, I know the objectionable odor will dissipate in a couple of weeks.

I didn't find it to be comfortable. I was using a standard mouse, maybe a gaming mouse is important. I currently use a Wacom tablet which is comfortable and great for editing.
