Tyvek Tape has a pressure-sensitive, permanent acrylic adhesive which eliminates the need for using water near artwork. It is made of white, nonwoven polyethlene. It resists tears, and is ideal for mat hinges, folder spines, and book repairs. 1" wide x 50 yards long.
This product is the best for hinging over-mats for photographs and artwork. It is made of indestructible Tyvek and is applied using a peel and stick method. Adhesive is acid free and forms a firm bond. It has a writable surface and can be used for other applications, such as book binding and sealing backs of canvas paintings, anywhere acid free conditions are required.
Used tyvek tape to attach two pages back to back. Taped three sides and bound the other side. Very good tape. Strong, easy to work with.
