Stereo Mini Male to Stereo Mini Female Cable - 10' is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 105.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works great with Rode VideoMic I use this as an extension between my Rode VideoMic and my Canon HV40. This allows me to mount my mic on a boom pole, or a tripod. That way the camera can be moved up to 10 feet away from the actor/actress/talent, and still record excellent quality audio. Because this is an unbalanced audio line, any farther than 10 feet would start to hinder quality. If you want to get the camera farther away than 10 feet, then you need to purchase a mic like the Rode NTG, or the ZoomH1. This is a perfect accessory for the Rode VideoMic, and a fair price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little peice to hav in your bad I use Rhode shotgun Microphone on a canon 60D dslr. With the extension cord I can use the shotgun mircophone as a boom. Simply with the use of some rubber band and a broomstick I create an impromtu boom. This makes my DSLR rig a bit more flexible. I also can place the microphone on a table when interviewing people and thus have excellent sound pickup without having to fiddle with lavalier microphones. If you purchase a microphone with the small jack, get the extension cord too. I like the spiral section at the end that gives you a bit of extra flex to prevent damiging the cable when streched.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from 10 foot stereo cable I use this to help with audio recording for inexpensive commercials and house videos for the web. It does what it says and the audio is good. Only use this for close quarters or if your subject is close. I got it with the Rode microphone and boom pole. A big issue to take into consideration if using this with a boom pole is that this is a 10 ft cord and if your boom pole is 7 ft that only gives you 3 ft to the camera. That does not even take into consideration wrapping your cord around the pole so it does not bang against the pole. If using this with a boom pole I would suggest getting the 25 ft cord. I was told not to get the 25 ft cord because of the audio quality but I have tested it several times and it sounds fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good cable! I use it with my Rode VideoMic on my DSLR (Nikon D7000). Perfect to bring the mic close to suject, exemple, interview. The combo is honest and it's a perfect match with my needs. I didn't notice any noise, but I was on a static setup, indoor. Great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great acccessory The extension works just fine, I use the product when doing a few small attempts a movie making. the sounds you get is no different than a shorter extension. just be careful not to tangle the line because you will get some noticeable noise and ringing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good buy I was a little wear because I usually buy 8' cables because I hear sometimes 10' or longer will create hiss but when I used this product I heard nothing and it worked just fine. I would definitely recommend this to a friend

Rated 4 out of 5 by from works great for off camera mic set up theres not to much to say for a simple cable that works. the construction is pro grade I though 10 feet is too long but I am definitely thankful for it now I can set up the mic on farther positions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very pleased with this cable. I would buy it again. I am shooting video with my iPad mini and putting the Rode VideoMic Pro out ahead of the iPad on a boom stand to increase the sound quality. This extension cable does the trick. I was concerned about picking up lots of line noise but so far that hasn't been the case. It's working out really well. I also had to buy the Rode SC4 3.5 TRS to TRRS adaptor to connect the extension cable to the iPad. You won't be able to go directly into your ios device with this cable alone.
