    Rode WSVM Reviews

WSVM Shotgun Wind Screen is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shorter than the one on the NTG4+ helps to press buttons Bought this because i thought the NTG4+ didn't have a Wind screen, turns out the Shotgun Mic does include one, anyways good product, its actually shorter than the one that comes with the NTG4+ so it allows me to use the buttons without removing the wind screen

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Effective with a side effect used it for the rode ntg2 and fits well, wont slide off of it or anything the shield is really effective, making the sides even harder to hear which means when the wind hits, you wont hear all that WOOOOSHHHHHBH38T88JDJ stuff you know? the side effect pretty much is lower dB. youll need to make sure youre properly pointing towards the person speaking like always and get as close as the frame allows you to. the ntg2 came with one already but i ordered one thinking its not included 10/10

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I don't want your logo! This came free with my purchase of a Rode shotgun mic. It works fine. However, why am I forced to promote Rode if this mic should appear on-camera? Are you giving these away as promos? No. So then why the giant logo?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must Have If you have Rode NTG-1 or NTG-2 Shotguns, this is a must have. A very simple test will convince you, get under a ceiling fan and listen to your mic with and without the windscreen. Nice to have the genuine replacement part available for when you misplace one.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Well priced but could be better Of course, this fits the NTG1 and 2 very well. My only problem is that it's not as durable as it could be. It doesn't take much to rip this windscreen a new one but at the price, it's easy to replace.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does its job for minimal cost Works well as a basic wind screen, will not block strong winds, direct air, or close plosives. Combine this with a deadcat and it works much better, cheaper than a blimp...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent Enough Works just fine for things like moving the camera around or a gentle breeze vs not having one. Not as easily torn as some reviews would lead you to believe.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fine and dandy replacement After a few years of good service had to replace my previous one. This is the one. It's the same as the first one. Not much else to say about it.
