    Gator Cases GK-88-Slim reviews

GK-88-Slim Keyboard Case is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 20.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nestle your keys in this sturdy case We bought a Yamaha P105 digital piano with 88-keys for our church music team. Being a mobile church that sets up and strikes every Sunday and keeps our gear in storage, I was really looking for a case that offered mobility while providing reliable protection for the journey back and forth from stage to storage. The soft interior paired with hard exterior backing and sides make this case a perfect nest for the valuable equipment inside. The straps are sturdy, cushioned, and keep the keyboard securely set inside the case. The wheels make it easy to carry the instrument over a distance. Great buy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nearly ideal, best considering options It's the slim model, but our Casio PX-330 is slimmer. That's ok, it leaves room inside for more stuff, including headphones that don't fold and power supply. I may make an internal divider to minimize shifting. Two outer pockets for sheet-music and books, as well as the Casio music stand. Large padded straps inside with lots of wide hook-n-loop. The sides are much stiffer than its Road-Runner counterpart, but I wouldn't recommend stacking anything on this. Some type of handle on the hinged side would be nice for a second person to assist with loading into a vehicle. Wheels are light-duty but will function fine for our use. This was purchased so our ten-year-old can pack/move his own gear on gigs and vacation. (Starting early). It is NOT a flight case.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is good I could carry my yamaha keyboard with this by myself for traveling . I'm not tall, so it's difficult to let it stand or turn it, but it's a good product. The pockets are very helpful, too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Inexpensive, pretty good case Pros: quite rigid bottom and sides strong-looking wheels and zippers sufficient padding not expensive Cons: quite heavy top is soft and probably doesn't protect keyboard well Before you buy: Measure your keyboard (etc.) carefully and make sure it fits in this case. I was able to fit my keyboard stand in my old case, under the keyboard. However I can't fit the 4cm deep folded stand in this case along with the keyboard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect size, mobility, and protection. My wife and I hold church services and gospel sings at several local nursing homes, and we use a Yamaha P60 electronic piano to do so... The Gator Keyboard case is the perfect size for the P60, and affords great protection and mobility (I love the wheels!). Our previous case was a flimsy vinyl case about 1 and 1/2 times too large, and it disintegrated over time. Plus, it did not protect the keyboard, nor did it have wheels.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy and safe transportation Rugged on the outside. Nicely padded on the inside. This keyboard case was the perfect choice to keep my 88-key Roland safe during transport. I especially like having the built-in wheels to take this heavy keyboard to the next gig. It's a back-saver! The small shoulder straps are the only reason I'm not giving this case five stars. They're small, and neither convenient nor comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Case for Arturia KeyLAB 88 I bought this for my Arturia Keylab 88 and the fit is great. Highly recommended - will see how it stands up over time but, for local transport, I think it last well. B&H pricing with free shipping was best I could find here in Canada, even with our dollar being weak at the moment. As far as the Arturia KeyLAB 88 goes, I'm guessing the case will far outlast the keyboard...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good but not perfect Nice case. The only thing I really miss is and extra handle. I have the longest, 88-key model and strongly feel that it should have an extra handle on the other long side (shown as button on the photo) for picking up and loading/unloading. With a handle on just one side, that proved to be a challenging task, especially using a small vehicle.
