Screen-safe Snap System protects the large LCD screens found on many new camera models. Rather than applying pressure against the screen of the camera (inside the case) when pressing the snap closed, the snap is attached to a small elastic loop (rather than being affixed directly to the case) that allows the user to insert a finger underneath the snap to press it closed. This avoids any pressure being applied against the camera.
