Hosa Technology CDL-313 Overview

The CDL-313 from Hosa is an inexpensive solution to digital connectivity. The unit is a high quality, digital link, allowing simultaneous transfer of two channels of digital-audio in either or both directions between AES/EBU on XLR connectors and S/PDIF on RCA coaxial.

Some manufacturers' DAWs, sound cards or DAT recorders have only S/PDIF outputs and some offer only AES/EBU inputs, or vice versa. The CDL-313 offers a simple solution for making transfers without leaving the digital realm. Serial Copy Management System is disabled when transferring from S/PDIF to AES/EBU.

Transfers AES/EBU digital audio signals to S/PDIF digital audio and vice versa
Simultaneous conversion in both directions if needed
Tracks remain in the digital realm - no resampling required
Inexpensive connectivity solution
