Documentation can be difficult to find for grip items like this, so I'm just posting a review to confirm that this fits 1-1/4 speed rail. (That's 1-1/4 inner diameter, outer diameter approx. 1.65 or 1-5/8.) I tested it on a Matthews 1-1/4 Grip Rail. Haven't tested with a load yet, but I've so far only had good experiences with Avenger brand equipment.

This clamp can also be used to connect any two tubing pieces together as well as long as the tubing is close to 2 in OD. There is a hole in the base that you can not see in the PIC that a 3/8 bolt is perfect for and counter sunk.
