The Manfrotto C4486 MP Eye Coupler Swivel Tilt 200 truss support is equipped with a tilting mechanism which avoids torsion problems caused by lifting a truss using two stands simultaneously. The base expands from approximately 8 - 16".

Wish they still had this in stock. I was lucky and got the last one BH had. You can still get them but it comes by way of special order from Italy so 6-10 weeks out. I use them to mount rails for custom sliders I built. The expanding feature allows me to use these for a variety of track widths. (See Photos) Combined with the Matthews Slider stands it's a super quick setup for moving shots.
We use the dual truss platform @ our studio to rig 10'+ sections of truss for lighting and props. This rigging facilitates one stand per side instead of two ! We love it !
