The On-Stage MSA7020TB is a top-mounted boom arm for your microphone stand. This telescoping boom gives you between 32 and 48" of range via its independently adjustable arm. Purchased this boom arm for an online teaching studio. The reach allows the stand to be out of the way from the piano and still be useful for instuction
I use the boom arm to hold microphones during recording sessions. It's durable, has a good range of extension and is easy to use. It stays in place once secured to the desired position, yet it's easy to disassemble.
