Avayon DXP-7PB Overview

Avayon's DXP-7PB portable DVD player makes you the main attraction wherever you go. Underneath its sleek black finish is a full-featured DVD player that plays DVDs, SVCD, CD-G, JPEG files, and DivX digital video on a brilliant 7" widescreen display. This player supports NTSC-format video for North America and PAL for Europe, making it a truly universal player. It connects to a TV with a standard 3.5mm plug and an included adapter cable.

An SPDIF output provides you with full 5.1-channel digital surround sound through a home theater receiver, or you can use the built-in stereo speakers. Use the headphone jack for a private theater experience.

A credit card-style remote gives you hands-off control from afar and allows frame-by-frame play, zoom, slow motion, fast forward, and even direct access of track and chapter numbers. All this versatility and convenience makes the DXP-7PB a blockbuster hit.

Multi-Zone Capability
This player will play DVDs for any of the 6 region codes.
Multi-System Display
When connected to an external monitor such as a TV, this player displays video in your choice of 2 formats: NTSC for North America, and PAL for Europe. The player can select the format automatically, or you can select it yourself.
DivX Certified
This player is certified by DivX Networks as capable of playing DVDs containing all versions of DivX content. DivX is a digital video format that stores high-quality video in a small amount of disc space.
MP3 and Windows Media Player
CD-Rs with MP3s or Windows Media files play just like standard CDs.
Photo Viewer
Put on slide shows of your favorite photos. The JPEG viewer plays photo files you've burned onto a CD. Kodak Picture CDs will also play.
Slow Motion
Watch a DVD in slow forward or reverse. Choose from 1/2, 1/3, 1/4, 1/5 or 1/7 normal speed.
Frame Advance
Want to analyze that special effect you just saw? Watch it unfold one frame at a time.
Zoom
Enlarge an image up to 4 times its original size, or shrink it to 1/4 its size. You can zoom on DVDs and photos.
Goto Button
The Goto button lets you enter the number of the track, chapter or title you want to enjoy. You can also watch a DVD from a point in time you select.
Repeat Play
You can repeat one chapter of a DVD, one song on a CD, or repeat the entire disc.
Screen Reverse
Flip the image on the screen 180 degrees to watch DVDs in the car with the player mounted on the roof for extra convenience.
SPDIF Output
The SPDIF output allows you to connect to a Dolby Digital or DTS-equipped receiver for 5.1-channel digital surround sound.
7" 16:9 Screen
The wide 7" LCD screen fits movies to a T. For viewing other material such as TV shows, you can alter the aspect ratio to stretch or shrink the picture for best fit.
Screen Adjustment Controls
Make DVDs and JPEGs look their best. You can adjust brightness, color level, tint and contrast for the 7" LCD screen.
Parental Control
Select a rating (PG, PG-13, etc.) from the menu to lock the player when kids attempt to view DVDs of that rating or higher. Only those who know the password you create can unlock the player.
Headphone Jack
You can have the big screen experience all to yourself with a pair of headphones connected to the 3.5mm headphone jack. The 3.5mm audio output serves a second headphone jack with fixed volume.

Remote Control
A credit card-style remote control lets you run the player from a distance. Direct access buttons make it easy to access DVD chapters or CD tracks by number.
