The special size of this Mini Windjammer is compatible with microphones with a maximum diameter of 40mm (1.5") and a length of 130mm (5.1").

The thick fur cover eliminates low- and high-frequency wind and background noises.
Usage
Designed to fit externally mounted microphones, the Mini Windjammer easily fits over your microphone. Just pull the cover over the existing foam and secure the touch fastener.

No, this Rycote Mini Windjammer is intended for use with a different mic. For the VideoMic Pro+, you can use the Rycote Mini Windjammer for Rode VMP+ (B&H # RY055470) or Rode DeadCat VMPR+ Artificial Fur Windshield for VideoMic Pro Plus Microphone (B&H # RODEADCATVPP).

Would this work over the Sennheiser MZW 64-PRO Foam Windscreen? If not, is there another slip over Windjammer that would?

The Rycote Special 90 Mini Windjammer (BH # RYMWS90) is too small to fit the Sennheiser MZW 64-PRO Foam Windscreen (Black), BH # SEMZW64P. The WindTech Mic-Muff Microphone Windshield MM-8 (BH # WIMM8) is recommended.

The Sony HXR-NX5U is a camera. If you are looking to put a windscreen on the shotgun mic that is on the camera, this windscreen would not fit. There is not a windscreen made specifically to fit over the built-in stereo mic on the camera.

The Rycote Mini Windjammer Special 90 is specifically designed for use over a foam windshield of 50 mm diameter and 90 mm long. The 1.9" diameter mentioned in the product description is actually in reference to the diameter of a compatible foam windscreen (50mm = 1.9").

The diameter of the two mics is the same, and the Deity is less than an inch longer that the Rode, so yes, it should be a good fit.

The correct windjammer for the Rode reporter would be B&H# RYWJ3550FW. You may also consider the Rycote FWS-35/50 foam screen for an extra layer of protection.
