The FireWire IEEE1394 AMBus Card from Apogee is designed to install in an AMBus-equipped Apogee conversion system. Once the card is installed your conversion system will be able to interact with your computer via a FireWire connection. Compatible with AMBus Systems
The card is compatible with AMBus systems, including the Trak2 and AD-8000 series from Apogee. You'll immediately recognize the benefits of adding FireWire capability to your converter.
Eight Channels Per Card
The card supports 8 channels of bi-directional digital audio. Dual FireWire ports allow you to daisy chain devices together to allow for more channels.
ASIO Drivers
The low-latency ASIO audio drivers allow your converter to communicate with industry-standard audio and recording applications. This gives you a variety of options as to which software you use with your converter.
