The Pana-Vue 6560 Slide Viewer #1 is a table top viewer that has a two-way base for a choice of viewing angles. It features a bright, 4x magnification on a bright 2.25 x 2.25" viewing screen. The light bar lock provides constant illumination by not having to hold the button. It operates on two C batteries (not included) or on household current with optional Pana-Vue transformer.

I got this to review a bunch of old family slides and decide which ones to keep. It's perfectly functional, though I still haven't quite figured out the instructions for keeping the slide in place without holding it down and sometimes I keep it held down without meaning to. My only real complaint is that $40 for something that is little more than a molded plastic piece with a mundane bit of electrical connection is overpriced. Unfortunately similar models in other brands are all priced pretty much the same. I do regret not buying one I saw on another site for $23 and which probably would have worked just as well.
Does what it is advertised to do at a reasonable price. This replaces one I got decades ago that finally gave up the ghost.
